We are very proud to announce that on July 10th, 2007 TB&TCB was certified by the San Francisco Department of Environment as a San Francisco Green Business. The process took more than a year and involved many checklists, inspections by various departments, some chemical and policy changes, a retrofitting of our lighting, and more inspections. All of our to-go cups, lids, straws, packaging and utensils are also now 100% biodegradable or recyclable. In addition we are a 2004 CORY Award winner for our recycling efforts. We hope that our customers and fellow business owners will follow our lead in making the necessary changes to our life styles and business practices to achieve a more sustainable way of life on this planet for the benefit of our children and future generations.
