OPEN for Brunch Labor Day Weekend
- TB&TCB Welcomes New Staff Members
It's
amazing what a week of vacation can do for your attitude! Well, we're
back and feeling recharged for another year of feeding and
entertaining our loyal customers! "The
Chef" spent
the week on the Black
Rock Desert in Nevada
helping to build Black Rock City for the upcoming Burning
Man event. Miu visited the Big
Sur coast and Hearst Castle. She was IMPRESSED!
Eric visited friends in LA and then Las
Vegas. Eric likes the Vegas shows but isn't much of a gambler. "The
Butler" (that's
me) spent the week on the Island
of Cozumel with
my 16 year old son Dustin, my love Rachel, my sister, and her husband and
two kids. We ate too much, drank too much, scuba dived, lounged on the
sand in the sun, and swam. Didn't want to leave...

We will be OPEN and serving brunch all Labor
Day Weekend!
If you are like us and don't dream of fighting the holiday traffic then
stop by and let us feed you! We'll be closing a little earlier than usual
- kitchen closes at 2:30pm, doors at 3pm - but will
open in the morning at our regular times, 8am Saturday and Monday, 10am
Sunday. So come
down
and
celebrate Labor Day with us! We'll be serving
breakfast and lunch all day long all three days.
TB&TCB would like to welcome the two
newest members of our Staff! Xavier Vespa joins the
hospitality team as your Barrista/Cashier Sundays
and Mondays. Xavier is from France and recently returned
to San Francisco after spending two years in his native France. Xavier has done a fabulous job of filling a position that demands speed,
accuracy, great Customer Service skills, and the ability to multi-task.
I believe that this is one of, if not the, toughest jobs there is in
our
Bistro environment. It's a real pleasure having Xavier as a member of
our team. Tip him well, he's worth it!
Joining the kitchen staff is Bryan Sandelin who
recently moved to the big city from Fairbanks Alaska with his beautiful
new bride Inna. Bryan and Inna moved
to San Francisco in June and were married July 11th. Congratulations
to the newlyweds!! "The
Chef" Joel is
extremely pleased with Bryan's professional appearance
and attitude, attention to detail, knowledge of food safety, and how
quickly
he has learned the many dishes served at TB&TCB.
We expect Bryan to have
a long, successful career with us. You will find Bryan in
the kitchen on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday, please feel free
to say "Hi".
